The journey of Gore Paw the Skinny Pig Vampire started when my daughter Torz, brought home a mistreated Skinny Pig (a breed of hairless Guinea Pig) she had rescued from a neglectful owner.

I had not seen this type of animal before and with his cuteness and larger than life character, this prompted me to write a short story about his imaginary adventures. The writing then took on a life of its own and has grown into five completed books with a sixth in progress, becoming the Gore Paw Universe.

The Adventures of Gore Paw the Skinny Pig Vampire is a trilogy of books with a companion book illustrating the biographies for the 70 plus characters that are also included in the stories.

There is a further book, Dinosaur Tales a spinoff with characters from The Skinny Pig Wars featuring Rexy the Dinosaur and a young boy, Sonny trapped on a mysterious Island.

Gore Paws story continues in a 6th book, Gore Paw and Riley the Puppy vs Dangerous Teddy which is in production and will be available in April 2022.

The stories are a mix of Sci-Fi/Fantasy in a world of animals that can talk and where they encounter Mythical Creatures, Aliens, Secret Societies, Trolls, and Time Travel, with Gore Paw even finding himself on the Moon.

The age range for reading is from 8 years old although the characters would appeal to a younger audience read to by parents or grandparents, and with subtle references to pop culture they can engage and entertain the whole family.
