The mice are uncles to Melissa Mouse who lost both her parents after an attack by Were Mice a couple of years previously.

They took on the role of joint parenting and split the duties overseeing Melissa’s welfare and education. They also share duties in expanding the house tunnels which is a full-time job that has been handed down for several generations.
